New York Photographer to Exhibit Dog-Related Work at ArtExpo New York.
New York–Andrew Darlow, New York photographer and instructor at the International Center of Photography, will feature photographs of dogs in limited edition prints, posters and cards at ArtExpo, being held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center from February 28 through March 4, 2002 (Booth 1161). ArtExpo New York is the largest art fair in the world, with more than 40,000 attendees expected this year.
Darlow, founder of candidcanine.com, is one of a small number of dog photography specialists in the New York metropolitan area. Says Darlow, "I've always loved dogs. Candidcanine.com gives me the opportunity to combine that love with my passion for photography and printmaking. People love their pets as if they were their children and capturing a dog's ‘inner child' in a natural setting is what I strive to do at every photo session."
A long time product and people photographer, Darlow is a consultant to businesses and individuals in the fields of color calibration and inkjet printing. Andrew offers private workshops at his Manhattan studio, and his classes at the International Center of Photography in New York cover digital output and color retouching.
